Born in Madrid, he studied traditional animation at the Madrid School of Film (ECAM). He has worked as an illustrator both for campaigns of clients such as Repsol, Orange, or Movistar, and at a more underground level for local skateboard brands or independent record labels. For a long time he combined this activity with his work as a colorist for film features and commercials, thus acquiring a background in the color field that will be key for the development of his later work. He adores Hanna-Barbera and Creepy alike, as well as the UPA and Hammer productions. His work is strongly influenced by the graphic explosion from the very dawn of skateboarding and by the most primitive rock’n’roll and the legends associated with their protagonists. In painting he finds his perfect ally to organize all those images piled up chaotically in his mind and an escape way in order to make sense of them, as well as to continue developing his interest in the exploration of light and color.
